There are many places to search for answers to your Indiana genealogy questions. If you know what is available, you can make much better use of your time and effort in finding out all you can about your Indiana ancestors. Here is where to start some of your searching.

The Indiana State Department of Health is responsible for the birth and death records for the state.. Check it for details on obtaining copies and other information about births and deaths.
One source is the Indiana State Library here.
Also, try the Indiana Genealogical Society.
