1861 New Brunswick Canada Census Questions
In the New Brunswick colony census for 1861 the information was to be recorded as things were on August 15, 1861. However, not all returns were done then, and most of them were finished later in 1861.
These were the questions asked by the enumerator.

| 7 | Rank or occupation |
| 8 | Religious profession |

| 10 | Sick and infirm |
| 11 | Deaf and dumb |
| 12 | Blind |
| 13 | Lunatic or idiot |
| 14 | Births in previous year |
| 15 | Deaths in preceding year |
| 16 | Marriages in preceding year |
