1861 New Brunswick Canada Census Questions

In the New Brunswick colony census for 1861 the information was to be recorded as things were on August 15, 1861. However, not all returns were done then, and most of them were finished later in 1861.

These were the questions asked by the enumerator.

3 Sex
4 Relationship to head of family
5 Age
6 Race and where born
7 Rank or occupation
8 Religious profession
9 Children at school within the year
10 Sick and infirm
11 Deaf and dumb
12 Blind
13 Lunatic or idiot
14 Births in previous year
15 Deaths in preceding year
16 Marriages in preceding year
